What steel roofing looks like in practice
Pre-painted steel has a clean, consistent appearance that holds its colour well over time when the right coating system is chosen. Unlike zinc or copper, it does not weather or develop a patina — what you see at installation is broadly what you will see for the lifetime of the roof.
